WELCOME 2015! GOODBYE 2014!

new year_1

Happy New Year to all you lovely people! I hope you have had a wonderful holiday season filled with food, joy and laughter, with the ones who you love. Like every new year, moving onto another year, another chapter of your life can be quite bittersweet.

It can be scary and nerve racking as you have no idea of what will be in store for you, but it is this fear that also brings the excitement and anticipation of what is yet to come. It is also sad to say goodbye to a year full of good memories or to some, the new year may be a perfect time to move onto more positive moments.

I know that this 2015 will definitely be a challenge for me but I know that this is a time in my life that will be memorable and fun. The thought of this year being the final year of high school is quite confronting and overwhelming at times. At the same time it’s incredibly exciting as in a few months time I will be venturing into a new chapter of my life, “The Real World”. That being said, I wish to make most of every moment this year, good and bad. These memories I make with my family and friends will be the ones I will cherish forever. So for those who are in the same boat as me, I feel you. Let’s just all take this difficult year one step at a time.

Here I though of some personal ‘resolutions’ for 2015

  • Don’t overthink too much
  • Take care of yourself more – e.g. exercise more, eat healthier, take some time to relax
  • Put others before me more – keep an open mind
  • WORK HARDER at school
  • Spend (even) more time with the ones I love

As for this blog and my newly establish youtube channel, I wish to be more active and post more regularly. BUT this time in my life, school takes a huge priority (hope y’all understand!) so if I go on a little (or big) hiatus, it’s probably because I’m getting bombarded by schoolwork. I know I say it too often but this time I will truly try my best to keep this promise when I have free time.

I hope all your goals and aspirations for 2015 come true. Stay positive and make the best of every moment. Thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement on this blog! I really appreciate it. Up above is a little OOTD video from the Window Shop Wonder, be sure to check it out!

Once again, Happy New Year lovelies!

Looking forward to you, 2015!

xx Julia Donnarie
